Bedminster

Located in Somerset County in the heart of NJ's horse country, Bedminster enjoys surprisingly low taxes. Four village areas make up the 26 square mile Township with a population totaling 8,300: Pluckemin to the south; downtown Bedminster on the east side; Lamington in the west and Pottersville in the northwest corner. The main streets in these villages are small, and most businesses are located in former homes, mainly charming old Victorians and Colonials from the 1920s. Historical buildings still remain, reminding us of how the area played a part in the Revolutionary War.  Located at the crossroads of Routes 287 and 78, the township school has been named a "Benchmark School" by the NJ Chamber of Commerce and Governor's School of Excellence.

 An easy commute to NYC, has great schools, a small population, and many notable residents such as Steve Forbes, Donald Trump, Thomas Kean, and Robert Wood Johnson IV, owner of the NY Jets.  Star quarterback Mark Sanchez makes his home here, as well. And of course, home to the world famous Trump National Golf Club- 434 acres- formerly the property of the John Z. DeLorean Estate and purchased in 2000 by Donald Trump.

Homes in the area include some of the country's finest historical mansions, estates, and equestrian properties but also feature townhomes and condos found in The Hills development within the town.  Whatever your needs, a leisurely tour of the area will have you fall in love with Bedminster!
