Jockey Hollow State Park

Harding Township, named after President Warren G. Harding  is rural in character and enjoys open spaces with very little commercial development leaving the town with large swaths of land forming the communities of Green Village, Logansville, New Vernon and Pleasantville.  A true suburb of Morristown the township enjoys a tranquil setting with the Great Swamp Wildlife Refuge and nearby Jockey Hollow National Park and Encampment.  Loantaka Brook Reservation is a great place to cycle or walk and Patriot's Path weaves its way through horse trails and fitness stations.  

The town has its own ice skating pond as well as Harding Elementary School (K-8) and features one of the lowest tax rates in the county.  High School students attend Madison High School and the nearby colleges of Drew, St. Elizabeth and Fairleigh-Dickinson offer their own brand of enrichment enhancing experiences.
