Mendham

Mendham Township (and Boro) is one of those charming New England towns dating back to the 1700s that has retained its small-town character and charm.  Examples of this abound in the center of town, where local businesses have made their home in older historic colonials, barns, and carriage houses. Beyond, town roads wind through rural neighborhoods where you can experience a "country feel" while remaining close to the downtown business district.  The Black Horse Inn, a popular restaurant and meeting place, is the centerpiece of the town, and Robinson's Pharmacy located down the street takes you back to Andy Hardy films with its soda fountains and lunch counters.  Just down the road is King's Shopping Center where all your shopping needs can be taken care of.  The Mendham Health & Racquet Club Sports Complex is located just behind the center and offers tennis, racquetball, outdoor swimming, and exercise classes.

Commuting is easy and accessible via the Midtown Direct Train line and the NJ Transit bus service from nearby Morristown. The elementary school on West Main Street in Brookside serves Pre-K – 4^th.  Middle school serving grades 5-8 is on Washington Valley Road, in the Township  The Borough school Hilltop Elementary Pre-K-4th is located on Hilltop Road, and Mountain View Middle School 5-8 is on Dean Road. The high school for both the Borough and the Township is West Morrison Mendham H.S. and is located on East Main Street in Mendham
