Watchung, which sweeps across the Watchung Mountain Range offers spectacular views of NYC from the skyline ridge of Johnston Drive- overlooking the entire valley- clear to New York.  Unlike many bedroom communities, Watchung offers large properties, undulating hills, narrow winding roads, abundant wildlife, and two lakes:  Lake Watchung and Best Lake.

You may expect an excellent education within Watchung Hills Regional High School- a Blue Ribbon school (one of 266 nationwide); Bayberry School and Valley View School.   The schools are highly rated and offer a diverse and challenging curriculum.  Culturally, the Watchung Art Center, a venue for the performing arts is located near Lake Watchung featuring jazz, folk music, photography classes, art classes, and exhibits and comedy shows- all open to the public.

Trailside Nature and Science Center, the Watchung Reservation, and jogging paths are nearby.  

Shopping, restaurants (Water and Wine on the lake) spas (Stress Relief Spa and Snap Fitness)  deli's, florists, Jeweler, pizza shops- banks, it's all here. The Blue Star Shopping Center is a convenient drive located on Rt 22.  Happily- the Short Hills Mall is a mere 13 miles away. What else could a girl ask for?
