Convent Station

Located just East of Morristown, and part of Morris Township- with nearby universities, major shopping in Morristown Revolutionary Americana lives here where President Washington made his headquarters. Lots of cultural and recreational amenities nearby; art, theater, and music as well as public and private golf courses.

A section of Morris Township, this "station" town called Convent Station is actually a train station stop on the Morristown line of NJ Transit and is very popular with commuters to and from the City. St. Elizabeth's College, the Madison Hotel, and the Morris Museum are all part of this wonderful community.  Morris township does not have its own downtown shopping, but close-by is Morristown with theaters, restaurants, boutiques, department stores as well as home to the Mayo Performing Arts Center-  Cultural opportunities abound especially within a few minutes of this town:  Drew University features a Concert Hall, McCulloch Hall Museum, Frelinghuysen Arboretum, the Ford Mansion and Museum, Fosterfields working Historical Farm, the Lewis-Morris Park system, Jockey Hollow Park system, Acorn Hall (for your annual Holly Walk during the season) and this is only a shortlist of some of my favorite places. There is something for every curious mind.

New York is really only an hour away, however, this area never disappoints in its variety of things to do and see.  The Morris School System has three primary's k-2, three intermediate's 3-5, one multi-age magnet school for K-5, one middle school 6-8, and Morristown High School.

Real estate in this town offers a range of luxurious old mansions, new construction as well as lovely older homes set along tree-lined streets.  Styles also include lovely Victorians, Tudors, center-hall Colonials, and mid-Century modern.  If you are a fan of ice hockey- the Mennen Sports Arena is located close by featuring practice rinks as well as local team competitions.  Love horses?  the Seaton Hackney Stables is nearby offering a variety of riding lessons with 50 box stalls.

Although a small community within a larger area, Convent Station remains a very special and popular destination for homeowners.  Thinking about relocating?  With over 35 years as a certified Real Estate Relocation Specialist, I am able to provide informative, first-hand knowledge about Convent Station.  Guiding you with your specific needs and with seasoned honest advice I offer guidance with schools, property values, and "quality of life" transitions.  Call me for an in-depth look at this wonderful community-the proof will be in the amazing results!
