The Village of Oldwick

Tewksbury Township, with sections of Oldwick, Mountainville, Cokesbury, and Pottersville recall memories of a Currier and Ives scene- rural, small picturesque villages, high-steepled churches, charming bed-and-breakfast Inns, old-fashioned General Stores and antique shops galore.  The township is known for its supply of horse farms and horseback riding trails used for many equestrian events as well as bicyclists cruising down each country road. Quiet and serene, you will discover many buildings dating back to the early 1800s including the Tewksbury Inn (1788) which acted as a stagecoach stop and tavern.  I am sure our forefather George had visited here!

Sprinkled with an array of newer homes; 150-year-old homes, colonials, luxury real estate,  farmhouses, and late Victorians. Go cross-country skiing, hiking, horse trail riding, mountain biking or bird watching. The sport is yours! A small population of about 6,000 residents and 30 square miles of land makes this an ideal choice to make your home.
