Peapack

 Peapack Natirar Park 

 Again, known as a twin borough (see Gladstone) Peapack shares many services and these two towns are both serviced by the Somerset Hills School District which includes Bedwell School (K-4) Bernardsville Middle School (5-8) and Bernards High.  Please feel free to ask me for my personal assessment- both of my children are proud graduates of these fine schools!  Gill St. Bernards School is a private co-ed day school serving students pre-K through 12th grade.  Additionally, The Matheny School is a private school for the disabled supported by many local fundraising efforts and an involved community. 

One of my favorite features of these two lovely towns is that it is easily accessible to NYC from two train stations by the New Jersey Transit's Gladstone Branch of the Morris & Essex lines- marking the last two stops from the City. 

Considered a "small" town by many (approx. 2500)  the area is surrounded by diverse homes- horse farms, estates, Victorians, historic homes, and lovely colonials- all adding to the charm of this "twin" borough.   The Essex Hunt Club is located in Peapack still offering fox-hunting, foot basset hound sports, and the club itself (on over 100 acres) is home to ice hockey and figure skating recreations.  The best of all worlds meet here!  So many lovely surprises are here, waiting to be discovered!
